Many More Jewels Of Life.

The beginning of another week and today I share the third in my series of 'The Jewels of Life'.

A treasure pink and tiny

Bravely grows from walls

Beautiful and happy.

Here we see 'Forget Me Nots'

Gracious and blue;

Oh how I love to share

Oh yes with all of you.

Oh so soft and tender

A precious 'White Clover;'

So easily recognised

By all the world over.

Honeysuckle precious

Clinging and a-twisting;

Sweet scents on the breeze

Teasing and a-sharing.

x

'Birds Foot Trefoil'

or 'Cuckoo's Stocking';

To dance in the summer breeze

Flowing and a-swaying.

Next is the 'Nightshade'

But heard words of wisdom;

It's beauty camouflages

Those flowers are poison.

'Harebells' so precious

Such jewels of wonder

Like lanterns of magic

Tease from way up yonder.

x

That gem so heartwarming

The 'Heather's' true beauty;

As soft as a cushion

Scents so warm and hearty.

x

Oh treasured 'Yarrow'

Stands tall and feathery;

Blooms of white and pink

I shall share with thee.

Here on the hedgebanks

Sways a wondrous 'Toadflax';

As moments so precious

Here I sit and relax.

Then the 'Scabious'

All so soft and sweet;

To curtsy so daintily

Each new dawn to greet.

Oh precious 'Scarlet Pimpernel'

The weather it does tell;

When the flowers close right up

There'll be a rainy spell.

Here stand the 'Greater Knapweed'

Looks slightly like a Thistle;

It dances oh so graceful

To Mother nature's whistle.

x

Now meet 'The Traveller's Joy'

A symbol of luck so great;

Wishes so greatly granted

You'll not have long to wait.

The rich golden yellow

A 'Ragwort' stand up strong;

It's grace so bewitching

Here it does belong.

Forevermore

Mother nature's kingdom

Each gem oh so precious oh so true

Cascading in a bright sparkling wonder

Oh to bewitch the hardest heart

Life's journey beautiful

Heartfelt

Jewels.

Each breath taking spell

Never again to fade or die

So blessed so true.
