Erin B Poetry - More Random Ramblings
Our Love
I focus on fighting my fears
And break through the lightning.
Tonight I need you here
So that I can feel that you care.
Tonight I need to have it be
More happiness than my eyes could see.
I try to understand why I love my life with you
When I still find it so hard to do.
Please show me the way home again
And quicken my breath once more.
Fill me up full of fire
So that I will never tire,
I will never break,
As long as you don’t forsake
me.
In The Forest
Fierce dreams make me believe
That I would be happier among the trees.
Wildly I wander, but always at ease
As I hide from prying eyes
And wait for your demise.
The forest will shelter us all.
Almost Dead
In the end
We are only shadows
That have faded in the gloom
But it seems way too soon.
In the end
We just play the part
And face the next day
In a sort of glazed way.
Which one is your favorite?
