Poems Poems of Yesterday

Wiriting poems during highschool years was very common in our class. Sometimes I asked my classmates what feeling drove them to write those love struck poems when so young as we were then, our outlook in love was still superficial....

I would like to share three of my favorites.

 COMPLAIN OF MY UNANSWERED HEART

Have you ever been in love?
have you ever felt the way I feel?
have you suffered the things I'm suffering now?
and have you experienced calling yourself a fool?

I wish I have never met you
How dare you do this to me
you let me fall in love
and now you're leaving me

Impossible dream, it's all about you
reality must rule our world
but if I'm not happy there,
can you tell me what to do?

I want to meet you
I really want to be a part of you
but it's just an impossible thing to happen
how can I make those dreams come true?

I tried to see you
I really found it hard
I tried to get your attention
but you did not give even a simple glance

I want to be with you
but obstacle are always there
for God's sake you're not a star!
but, really I found it hard to reach you!

My pride says "ouch"
everytime that I follow you
I'm not used to do those things..
I'm feeling cheap because of you..

I like to fantasize...
I want it to dramtize
I hate to wake up then feeling sad
I just can't blame you, that's too bad

Love is the most beautiful thing in life
that is if two hearts are in love
but if you're the only one in love
Love is the most "unfair" thing in life..

DOUBTFUL FEELING

I don't know if I'm in love
and I don't want to ask others
if what I feel is love..
coz whatever it is that I'm keeping inside
I'm not interested to know
coz I know he's not in love
If ever love is what I feel
all I have to do is to forget what I really feel
just think it is just a fling
just to avoid that unwanted feeling
Do you think it's right to forget him?
or just let my feelings stay
coz they used to think
that he is also in love with me
If ever this is love
what a big mistake
and what happened to my heart?
Think positive is what I need
and my air is to forget
that stranger in my dream
and from that I discovered something
there might be a war
"Between thinking and feeling"

TOGETHER AGAIN

After so many weeks of being along
after so many days of feeling sad
after those sleepless nights
and endless crying of my heart..
Here you are again
talking to me like a friend
a long lost friend
a friend that gives scar in my heart
Now you're here
I can't understand what I really feel
am I feeling happy of bad?
coz the man that I have loved is back
I hate to look at the past
coz the pain that I had is still here
deep inside
And you the cause of my pain..!
are you here again to do another pain?
as I look in your eyes
I see something that you cannot hide
Then you said something
that maybe I did not like
you asked "can we be together again?"
then I smiled and said
"GOODBYE!"
