If you’ve enjoyed watching the ‘Longmire’ series on Netflix, you will most definitely enjoy reading his novels. In fact, I highly recommend reading them mostly due to the fact that you will be able to retain a vast amount of information rather than what is shown on the big screen. However, the show does in fact complement the novels in the same mannerism as keeping you at the edge of your seat. By the time you finish the first series, I guarantee you will find yourself craving for more. Before you know it, you’ve read the whole series of novels leaving you guessing with anticipation wondering what will happen next.

Speaking of next, 'Longmire' Season 6 is speculated to appear on Netflix in October. However, there are many avid fans of the series who are saddened and disappointed by the fact that this will be the last and final season of the most popular televised series ever to appear on Netflix. Apart from this disconcerting news, I am happy to report that most recently it has been announced via www.seat42f.com that the complete Fifth Season of ‘Longmire’ will be released on DVD and available to own on September 26, 2017.
