The dollar rose Tuesday to its highest level in nearly two weeks against a basket of currencies after comments from officials revived the Federal Reserve (the US central bank) hopes to raise interest rates later this year. The dollar rose more than two percent since that came down on Friday after the US Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates unchanged and cut growth forecasts in the United States.
