Has anyone ever bought the Novel and Short Story Writer's Market book, or any other Writer's Market book? Was it worth it to buy? I am considering buying the 2015 edition of the book and just wanted to know it I will find this book useful.
I do buy The Poet's Market book, not every year, but about every 5 years. I find them very useful and have discovered many new-to-me markets. If you have work ready to be published it's definitely worth it. They often have good articles on the craft of writing too.
That depends what you want it for. It is a list of markets, in some areas there are free internet resources that are equivalent.
