Over the holidays, I had the chance to kick back, relax, and enjoy some virtual reality gaming action. When I was done, I decided to catch up on some recent VR-related news, and there was a lot of material to read and content to view.

Of note, something that piqued my interest was a press release announcing “the first VR-book in the world,” which definitely seemed appealing. Of note, Andrey Vasiliev's “Fayroll- More Than a Game” - an apparent LitRPG story – with Vasiliev serving as a leading Russian LitRPG genre author. Admittedly, I don't know who Vasiliev is... and never heard of LitRPG... but, here is a comic motion book trailer:

I'm still not sure what to make of VR books... but as a geek, of course I'm a bit interested here.

So, what do you think about VR books? Just a gimmick, or could this develop into something fun and long-lasting? I'm working on some VR content, but didn't quite expect to see a VR book listed when I started digging around.
