Hi I actually have something in the works right now, which I'm afraid has been on my backlog list for several years now--I have 3 concepts for novels right now but I tend to jump from one book to the other (mostly in my head though, eep).
Hehe, need more help with time-management I guess...
Yes I am, along with short stories, I am currently writing a fantasy novel.
It's fun and a bit of a challenge to me.
Fun question :] I just finished my first novel, a fantasy currently at 129k words [I know the number will go down after editing]. It's exciting to get started on the next steps. Plus I've already started novel number two. Gotta stay busy doin' what I love!

I just read an article on the Mythic Scribes forum that was complaining how many new writers want to jump right in and write an epic novel (this IS a sci-fi/fantasy writer's forum) with no experience... suggesting maybe newbies would be better off sticking to the short story for a few years before...
