Generally, no. I love to review children's books, but reviewing unpublished stories would suggest I have some kind of "in" with the publishing industry, which I don't. I'm "just a lover of books."

If I post my unpublished manuscripts to hubpages, will my stories be discovered or stolen?Publishers won't read them unless I hire an agent, and they're expensive if you find legit representation.

Do I need an agent as an unpublished author?Even though I am not necessarily a published author, should I have an agent signed up and ready to go, just in case?

I wonder how many others publish one of their hubs because they think it is tweaked and good to go ... only to find ... upon a reread that they need to clarify and describe a situation better. I do this all the time and it makes me crazy! By the time I have it down pat most everyone has...

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery.What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

I have a hub I've been working on but have never published. I logged in to work on the hub and found it already has what is probably a script/site-generated warning about content on it.Should I submit to someone on staff at hubpages for review first if I wish to publish or what? I have no idea WHY...

Have you ever published a hub before it was ready?I have a habit of publishing my work before it has been carefully proofed. Does anyone else do this?
