vision inspiration alot of down time and some writing creditability
Perseverance, having a story to tell is one thing, writing day, after day, after day until you actually have something resembling a book is another thing entirely. If you can't stick with it then your story won't get told, no matter how good it would have been.
A great idea, patience, time and a thick skin because no matter how good you think it is, you will have to be open to constructive criticism.
