It seems a certain, Frost, in 1911, left his farm in Derry, Ireland and emigrated to the USA. One year later, he sailed for Great Britain, he lived at Glasgow and then Beaconsfield and received acclaim as a poet.
Jack Frost, the purveyor of all things ice, decided in 1912 to take a much-needed vacation. The result was less frost on the pumpkin and the beginning of what we now call global warming.
