Once you enter all your content into your Hub, you have to click the bottom that says "publish."

    Hi, wearing well,

I am so sorry I haven't answered you - and I see you wrote your question two weeks ago - I didn't get any email alerting me of the question so I hope you will still be able to get my answer.

Essentially, as soon as you 'publish' your hub here on HubPages, you have published your hub.  But I haven't tried to publish any of these hubs anywhere else if that is what you mean... not sure if this link helps: http://hubpages.com/hub/self-publishing … and-market

    or this: http://www2.brighthub.com/writers/writerswanted.html

I do have many short stories published and copyrighted by Florida State University and Florida Center for Reading Research (they paid for my stories so they become their property).

I wrote for them over a period of about a year when they were planning a new English Language Test (similar to SAT's).  In total I wrote and had accepted 341 stories.  It was very profitable indeed!

Sadly these opportunities only come around once in a blue moon - this particular test will run throughout the school system for 10 years...

So, I hope I have helped answer your question, and I am sorry I only just found it today...
