Personally not inspired but suffering from a lack of communication so my motivation (i would call it) is this!
Other than that a rich imagination that has to sometimes be expressed!
And also I believe that to be able to write you have to be a good communicator in order to listen, observe, debate and exchange opinions!
Sometimes information is hard to find on the net especially with so much spam. I write to make usefull information about cars easier for people to find. Also in my line of work the truth about things is often a hard to find.
My son Shawn is my inspiration. He was killed this January in a freaky car accident. He was only 25 yrs. old and left behind his soulmate and two very young boys. Cameron is 6 yrs. old and Devin is 2 yrs. old.
We were just beginning to "know" each other and were re-bonding after years of rebellion and mis-communication. Praise the Lord, he was saved and so I know where he is and I am glad for that, but it doesn't lesson my pain. I still miss him and want to hug him and I can't.
I last spoke to him at Christmas. There were a lot of things weighing on my mind this Christmas and I spoke to each of my children and told them that God had laid some things on my heart that I needed to share. With Shawn, I apologized for having been so strict with him in his teen years. He said to me...."Mom, I know why you were so hard on me. I know it was out of love. Mom, if you hadn't been hard on me, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I wouldn't be the Dad I am. I owe everything to you. There is nothing for you to apologize for. You were a good Mom and I love you."
These words were like music to my ears! I will always remember this moment in time and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to hear them. I believe my heart was so heavy prior to this time because God was telling me there were things that needed said and He laid it on my heart to do so.
And if I hadn't listened, I would never have had the chance.
Anyway, I have been in counseling to help me deal with the grief from the loss of my son, among other things. My counselor suggested journaling about him as a way to get it out. I have written a couple hubs about other things and have just been hedging around the one thing that bothers me most. I will never see my son again on this earth. It is soooo hard to write about him, but I will eventually. When I am ready.
That is why I am writing and he is the inspiration behind it.
That's very easy to answer. Life inspires me and I have an insatiable curiosity. I try to learn something new every day. You never know what will come along and plant the germ of a story or article in your mind.
Look at the people around you and try to imagine what they are thinking or what's happening in their lives. To be a good writer means being a keen observer and student of human nature. The depth of feeling, the nobility and the potential for greatness in ordinary people is simply amazing.
My life and the people I have met and continue to meet inspire my writing. Past experiences have influenced me as a person so they obviously play a part in my writing too. I think that my drive for personal improvement motivates me to share in what I learn and in what I hope to learn in the future.
Inspire yourself and then you will inspire others.
Reading hubs of others sparks the creative urge in me. Also, simply journaling can churn out interesting topics for hubs-to-be. But I don't have to have a reason to write. Writing is going on in each of us--we only have to add the hand, the pen, and the paper--the words will come.
I am inspired by trying new things. I love to find great products and share my discoveries with anyone who will listen. My friends tease me about always having "new favorite things". My excitement for these things is what drives my writing passion.

Ah. Feels so good to plop down in front of your computer (or a notepad and pencil if you're into the tried, timeless and traditional) and write out a story, right? But what about those days when you're hammered with a heavy bout of writer's block? Where do you go or what do you do to fill yourself...

I guess many of us come up with an idea or ideas by inspiration. What's your inspiration?
