when referring to the month in the first line of a letter should it be capitalized or abbreviate?
If you are writing out the name of the month, it should always carry a capital first letter. Even if you abbreviate it, say, Nov, for November, it still carries the capital.
Typically if you are writing a letter it should be spelled out with capitalization.
When you're writing the month in an article, then I reccomend spelling it out because it's easier to read through that way. Otherwise, it's choppy.
