Providing that the brain works, never, unless there is a physical problem that can't be overcome. Writers can no more stop writing than actors can stop acting, than painters can stop painting...
When you need to. Ask yourself that question and see what the answer is.
If you like it, write forever.
If something inside urges you keep up.
When you get tired. People are likely to make mistakes when they are tired. Rest, and then start again.

I'm new to hubpages but it seems discouraging for me seeing status that read like saying goodbye to hubpages. I was just starting and some are already leaving. omg...O_OSo what's really making you stop writing? Have you lost your desire? Or is it the decline in traffic? Give me some clue please..

I've been seeing these adverts but I wonder what on earth these guys are up to. Do they mean that by writing we're simply wasting time?I guess they should look for better words.
