What will be your first advice to a learner of English literature?
I want to be very good in English. Actually I am lover of English literature.
Read a lot. If you want to become fluent, start with easy, fun bestsellers and listen to American (or British English) radio or find TV shows and movies with the English audio system.
If you want to learn about English literature, oh, there are many great writers to start with, but it's not easy to read their works. My favorites are W. Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe.
Check the internet for different English literature reading lists
My answer to you is to READ,READ, READ. Take some English literature classes at your local colleges or universities. And talk to an English literature Professor he can give you good advice and lead you the right way.

My daughter is doing her PG in English literature. She needs help on the topic 'imperialism and textuality'. It would be a great help if anybody could provide me a link to any article on the above topic.
