My on/off boyfriend of over 20 years is complaining again....

He thinks I should have had 5 kids by now

I think not, anyway one is enough and he is off to Uni

Although he does not belong to my current beau

I am blessed to say the least

Financially I have brought up this man child myself

    He did not digress

And become a problem thug or nusiance within our community

Instead he is strong, an achiever and has learned a good work ethic

Gordon Brown should promote me in his next speech

I did not beat my child into submission

I talked to him and listened to what he had to say

    Parenting is hard

It is a job that has no holidays, pension scheme or get out clause

    Sheer perserverance is the key

I know cause my child is still going to uni.

enough is enough when you have had enough. I say 20 yrs. on/off is enough. Be proud you raised you son alone, and is going down the 'good' path in life. Be very proud of what you and your son have accomplished. Parenting is hard and there are no days off or paid vacations, I get this believe me I do. It sounds like you know you have had enough of the bf. Kudos to you and your son

Went for a speed read. I have to agree. Not my cuppa - poetry stuff. Maybe we should send brnada over, she can come back with a report and tell us her opinion.

Interesting is the right word tantrum.

That's me shouting by the way. In case of confusion smile
