What if my piece doesn't win in the contest?
If my contest entry is not selected as a winner, can I delete the hub and try to publish my work elsewhere?
I would think so because you are the owner of the copyright and the contest is a one-time publishing. IMHO
You can always unpublish your Hubs. The option is there.
Not winning the contest maybe a matter of taste also, instead of pure quality. Trying it somewhere only seems fare. It's your piece. You can do with it what you want to.
Of course you can. Your hubs belong to you and you alone. If you had a 100 hubs here you can delete every single one of them. Just because your entering a contest does not stop you from removing it should it be a winner or not. Good luck with your entries.
You can, but many publishers will not accept pieces that have already been published. Even if you delete it from Hubpages, having posted it makes it "prepublished". Make sure you read submission guidelines when submitting it for publication to ensure the venue accepts reprints.

If you remove (delete) some hub articles from hubpages, do you have the rights to them?So if we have had hubs published here and remove them, are they ours to do with as we wish? Is there a time limit as to when they become public domain? If you have had experience, I'd appreciate...

Part of the reason is to see if some...

and probably all accounts comming from MN, in the account that the state had passed a law to collect Internet taxes. So, that will not pay any advertising fees to accounts in Minnesota.I used to make some pocket change from Amazon every month....I am sad and mad ( I just lost my full time job with...

Should I delete my hubs that are not featured due to quality?I have tweaked and tweaked, and apparently they are on a "black list".

My search of Q/A and the forums didn't turn up much that wasn't old or inadequately answered, so thought I'd stir the soup again and see what floats up. The answers to my questions could be applicable to all hubs, but, in particular, I'm thinking of moving (re-)idled hubs off of HP, not ones still...
