    Build sand castles, or if you're the Professor, probably build some kind of radio to call for help.

    Is the island surrounded by salt water or fresh water? If salt water, I would fill the bucket with water, gather some leaves to canopy the bucket, set it in the sun and hope for condensation. And pray I don't kick the bucket.

    If fresh water, I would kick the bucket. Someones bound to hear you sooner or later.

    Find freshwater quickly to fill it with or make a fire and boil seawater trying to catch the steam as condensation on another cooler object so you might live a bit longer.

    My first thought was to punch holes in the bottom, make a spear, catch a few fish and use the chum to catch shrimp and crab.
    Guess I'm in the mood for seafood.
