What words or phrases have you observed people often misusing?I've noticed that some commentors/writers make assumptions as to the meaning of certain words or phrases, which often results in miscommunication. What have you observed?

Hear people a lot saying "I'm itching myself" instead of "I'm scratching an itch."
"It's the same difference." Well, that only applies to a math problem with two examples arriving at the same conclusion. In English, either it's the same or it's different...the phrase is basically a dismissal of an argument with no real reason.
