Have you traded the pen and paper for a computer?
As on-line writers, we spend a lot of time typing away at our computers. Do you still use the old fashioned way of writing and note keeping with the good ol' pen and paper, or have you traded completely for a laptop, tablet, and/or desktop?
When typewriters were first becoming popular, the author C.S Lewis said that even if he could learn to type, he would stick to handwriting because it is "far more personal".
I think that is so true. Still, I believe that typing is so much more efficient and easy. The only time I use a pen and paper much anymore is while taking notes in class. I fear that after my graduation, I will have fewer and fewer opportunities to choose a pen over typing.
I hope we always have pen and paper. Although, I can't really explain why.
I feel the same way. I hope the pen and paper never get lost in a world of technology. I have a desktop and a tablet, but I still gravitate toward my pen and notebooks when I sit down to write. Everything goes in my notebook first, then I type it.
I still love to write with pen and paper; although now that I'm posting most everything I write I end up typing it too. I also write in a tangible journal. So I guess I'm still not ready to lock my pen away and send my paper to the shredder.

Pen and/or pencil, or keyboard? When you write, do you prefer the action of handwriting, giving you thinking time and brooding time and chewing the end of the pen/cil time? Or do you prefer the quickness of typing on a computer?

What are the best pen and paper RPGs for beginners?I've used AD&D 2nd edition, 3rd ed, Cortex and a couple of homebrews, but I want to see what RPGs others think are the best for introducing new players to RPGing.

Today no author writes using a pen, but they are expressing themselves by using keyboards. Then why we know them as writers?

Do you write with a pen or a computer? When my husband first suggested around 1990 that I use a computer for writing, I cried when I tried. I told him the thoughts got from my head to the paper through my pen and I resisted. So for all these years I tied myself to the computer. Only...
