While cutting some things up in the kitchen and letting my mind run away with me...an idea hit me.
So to all you writers, be it poetry, nonfiction or fiction...let us do something besides just send little Noah Christmas cards. Let's make hubs to help his family cope and show others that we have a heart and truly care.
Write poems abouth is strength, his love, whatever.
Write stories or just a hub about him asking for more cards or even like Luciendasky did write a hub on his cancer.
But let's do this for him so that his legacy will live on not only through his family's memories but also ONLINE!
Please do write a poem or a hub about Noah and then post it here so that we can link all of our hubs together for the world to see and read!
Luceindasky and I have already written hubs, her 2 me 1 but I am planning on writing maybe a poem even though I write fiction better than poetry. And maybe even a small fiction story for Noah.
But let's do this for him! To show the world that we care and that anyone who has this cancer is not alone, maybe even pulling strength from our beautiful words!
And another great idea let us do it for those who lost someone or had been injured in the Ft. Hood, Texas shootings yesterday! We are writers let people read our wrods and take comfort from them.
Please see my article called "Tribute to the Fallen" it is a beautiful tribute to the families and the Heros we lost at Fort Hood. It is heartfelt and sincere. You hit it on the dot that is what writing is all about.
Warmest Regards,
Christal
Dallas, Texas
Come on ppl this is more imprtant than the stupid games. show the internet users you have a heart for others!
If you guys want to report me then go ahead but I'm bumping up my thread again!
bumpity bump... you are not alone crazdwriter, and I am not reporting you.
Crazdwriter, here is another idea, maybe once people have written their poem or story they can post a link here?
Yep that works for both Noah and Ft. Hood poetry or hubs of any kind.
Use your gift for something GOOD and worth while...write for those lost in Ft. Hood and for Noah!
haven;t checked just yet...been busy shredding cheese and my knuckles
Ok. I dont know who Noah is, but count me in on the Ft. Hood tragedy
awesome let us know when you have written something so we can share as well, and you can read about Noah in the forum called "A child's dying wish...." or on my own or Crazdwriter's hubs.
Thanks dave and go read mine and Lucie's hubs to find out about Noah
on a separate note, I emailed our friend again... he wrote me back and said he is feeling a little better this evening.
oh that is good news. tell him to hit me up anytime, Lucie
Bump! going to write more hubs for both topics on Monday while I write on my story. First the hubs then the story
I figured out a good title for one and will write it out so I don't forget it but for now...I need to relax and wait for my friends to come...my back is killing me
*sigh* guess no one is interested in doing this...guess it'll just be me and Lucie who shows ppl that we care
All right going to let this one die since no one cares but me dave and lucie
I guess it my turn.....
If I get banned for a couple of days then I will have more time to work on my nano stuff....
How about getting some of the people in the religion forum involved in this?
You aren't going to get banned. and shoot if they didn't read it here then they won't read it there...it's okay dave...at least we care and I'm sure readytoescape might write some if I mention it to him. just write hubs and email me your link so I can attatch them to my links
I just started a thread called Lending a Helping Hand in the Religion section. I hope that people will take some time to help out.
Well you were right. Again we are the only three. I am starting to disbelieve any of the so called Christians on hubpages.....
I'd love to help but I don't know what you're talking about. I'm headed to your profile page to see if I can figure it out.
Okay, found your post in the forum and your hub on this. I'm grabbing a cup of coffee, then I'll be writing a hub to help spread the word. We need to hasten...there's not much time left for this child!
I think it would also be a really nice gesture if we'd send his parents a card, too. I cannot even begin to imagine the torment and anguish they must be going through right now. They are definitely in my prayers and thoughts!
I think that would be great to send his parents a card Good thinking, hope... you really live up to spreading your name
Going to go read your hub now
Okay, wrote a Hub on this and I shared the link with you on your Hub about Noah.
I had a thought. After reading Luciendasky's hub it occurred to me that everyone might also send a letter to the editor of their local paper with the information so that people outside hubpages could get involved!
Hi, I hope this helps..It is a little something I wrote many years ago, perhaps it will give comfort..
Through the Trends of Time
Through the Trends of time do I have one regret?
Nay not one, not I.
I have lived a full and useful life...
And will continue til the day I die..
God Bless All... Judi

Do you think it's possible to write a good-quality travel hub about a place you've never visited? This morning I read a hub about Hawaii, where I live, that recommends a hotel in Waikiki that doesn't exist, unless it was just built yesterday. It promoted deep-sea fishing for fish...

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a great week. For me it has been a very good week, my ankle seems to have healed perfectly -it even passed the high heel test- and my arm cast finally came off, just leaving me with a few sessions of re-education before I can start using my hand...
