What is your favorite novel from the last decade? (2000 - 2010)
My favorite novel from this period would have to be "The Notebook", by Nicholas Sparks, followed by "True Believer", also by Sparks.
My favorite novel? Every book that I pretty much read is older than the past ten years but from this generation alone, I would say the best book series that I have been reading has been the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher.
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke (2004). Absolutely stunning, written in a faux Victorian style and set in an offbeat Victorian world. It's as thick as a brick and I just keep reading it and reading it on a kind of eternal loop.

What is your favorite, fun, feel good novel? Right now I feel most fondly about Frangipani by Celestine Vaite. Her simple prose and heart warming stories about Tahiti just hit the spot. Highly recommend...
