Have you read "Dune" by Herbert?
Frank Herbert's "Dune" was a milestone. A book which was according to some the best sci-fi novel ever. Do you have read it? Do you like it?
I read all 7 books in the series, and it's still one of my favorite science fiction stories ever. To be honest though, Dune (the first book) is a stand-alone story and is by far the best in the series, so there's no "need" to read the other 6 unless you really want to.
I have never watched the movies.

Why do some people actually contend that the bible is the word of God when any logicalperson knows that the bible has been interpreted, reinterpreted, written, rewritten, and even altered by men according to the suited purposes of the religious authorities at a particular time?
