When you listen to audio books do you feel like your cheating?
It takes me longer to read now that I'm working more hours but with audible.com I'm finishing more books. I feel like I'm cheating on my books What do you think?
No! Audiobooks are fantastic. I finally am driving a car with a cd player in it, and I listen to audiobooks during my 45 minute commute everyday. It helps me catch up on the books I want to read. I use them in my classroom sometimes too, especially when what we are reading is at a higher reading level than my students can access easily. I still read a lot, but audio books allow me to read when I can't have the book right in front of me (while driving or taking a walk).
It's only cheating if you get the abridged versions I suppose.
