Serialising a novel online

    A friend of mine wants to serialise a novel online.  She's started it on a Blogger blog.  I'm just wondering if this is the best approach - for one thing, posts display most recent first, so that means someone discovering the blog in a couple of months' time will find themselves lobbed in at chapter 10 first, with no convenient way to start at the beginning and read smoothly from there.

    Anyone have any experience of writing serial fiction online and can recommend the best way to tackle it?

    I would suggest using a website, or buying a server and using Joomla!.

    A simple website to display the chapters can be easily done, with a not great interface, but still enough to write the novel.

    I may be even able of doing it, so contact me if you would like me to attempt.
