The longest one that spings to mind is 'Antidisestablishmentarianism' but  'Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis' is the longest word i've come across but i had to google this one to remind myself of it again.

The longest English word I know is 'smiles' - there's a mile between the 's'es; sorry couldn't resist that one!  Despite being a literacy teacher, I'm ashamed to say I don't know one longer than those already mentioned but I'll keep thinking and looking.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis - it was a spelling word in my 8th grade English class.
