You guys think I should print out my two poems and give them to my mom?
I am also thinking of when I get home to get a poster board, print out pics and paste them on there. What do you guys think? we are having a little get together next week after the funeral and thought that this would be a good way to remember him. Maybe a lit candle too?
What do you guys think? thoughts? ideas?
hi Crazd, (hugs again) you can put then in a nice album and print the two poems and then give it to your mom, put the poem inside the album album should be big...then you can show it to your relatives on the day of gathering or have a short program and then you be the emcee then you can show the picture and read the poems while you are gathered.
You do whatever makes you happy and helps you feel better. If expressing that in words does the trick then by all means that's what you should do.
thansk Scott. I wanted to print the poems I have posted on here
It's a very nice idea, but you may want to mention to your mother that you understand it may be too much for her to look at right now, but you put it together for when she's ready (whenever that may be). She may want to see it right away, or she may need to wait - but she'll know she has it, and she'll know you put it together. I do think it's good to "warn" someone about what something is, though, and to give them that option of seeing it when they're ready.
I will of course warn her about it. Thanks Lisa.
I don't doubt she already knows in her heart that I have written a poem because I did it for my Tata and my Nana and she knows I'm a writer even though I am not a poem writer.
thanks Denno. Mom of course has a lot more pictures than I do but i like the idea of putting together some pics on a board with the poems or something like that. take it out of my mom's hands since she did it for both Tata and Nana
okay well I am off to hunt down pictures of my Papa ttyl peeps

Do you print out or back up hubs?I realised yesterday I had no copies of my hubs if anything happened to the site, so printed them out. Do you take precautions? I guess the problems with stats spooked me.
