Why do you write?
I am trying to find a reason to keep writing- I know I am not the best or even a great writer. Should I keep doing it because I want to or should I just take up a journal and keep it private ?
I write to send a message. Immortality is earned by those who remember you. If nothing has your name attached to it, then nothing is yours. My writing is a reflection of who I am. Without it, I am nothing. That is why I write.
I write because I have to. It is inside me and I need to express myself to the world. You should listen to your heart. If you want to write and express your thoughts to the world then keep writing. Keeping a journal is more private but if that's what you feel you need to do then you should. Writing comes from the heart as a way of expression.
