Anyone know if it's gotten easier to publish a book of poetry online?
I'm still working on poems for my first collection. But the last time I looked into publishing on Amazon, where I have my only eBook published, it sounded very difficult to maintain the indent and spacing integrity of poetry. Anyone know if this has changed? Or another good marketing publisher that caters to poetry and still promotes their books?
Ha, publishing poetry online is like carrying water in a basket. But the problem is not publishing the poetry, as there are several free eBook publishers. But the problem is getting sales. The poetry market is thin....veerrrry thin.
Well said brother! Last time I tried, I couldn't get the indents to stay put, and it confused the meaning of the poem. It's true what you say about the market, but I'm still game for it, I have an interesting author who said he'd write a forward!
ok bro, i wish you all the best and hope that you have deep success. When you do pass that hurdle, please let me know
The way you feel about publishing poetry is the way I've felt for a long time too. Since I've published one short eBook though, it's changed my mind. I feel like then, if someone liked the eBook, then they might want to read more.
