Are you a fan of Edgar Allen Poe?

He's a man seen as both dark and brilliant. What are your thoughts?

I think he was dark, brilliant, and deeply sad at times. He also had a wild sense of humor. When I was writing a paper about him for a college lit class, I came across an essay written by one of his colleagues. They were having a seance and he slipped away from the table while everyone had their eyes closed and draped a sheet over his head. Then he  stood in the shadows of the candle-lit room and began chasing them around the room howling when they opened their eyes and freaked out from seeing a "ghost" in the room.

That's interesting and hilarious! I didn't know that. Thank you so much for responding and sharing.

Honestly I have only read his poem The Raven. Found it very interesting and extremely dark.

You should check out Poestories.com. It's a great site if you're interested in reading more of his work. It has a lot of interesting facts about him as well.
