Most cost effective way to start a magazine
I'm in the process of starting up a student-run magazine which is aiming to be 100-120 pages, and I'm looking for publishing sites that will help me keep the cost as close to $10/issue as possible. This is non-profit; we only want to make enough to keep the next issue going.
Does any one have any suggestion?
Non profits can charge for the magazine , find a reasonable price that students can afford. Also why not make an online magazine and sign up paying subscribers pay to help with any costs.
When it becomes popular you can sell advertising to lower costs.
