Which words would you use to describe the Democratic Party without using the actual words?
Grace.....ALL due respect my dear fellow writer~~perhaps my brain has not engaged properly this morning.....but are you willing & able to explain how ones ...."chooses WORDS to use to describe something, WITHOUT using ACTUAL WORDS?"
Somehow I'm thinking that this can't even be a trick question. There's no possible way to play charades online.......OK Grace, I give up....??
A political party that is a polar opposite of the Greed Over People (GOP) party and one that represents humans over corporations, advocates for the environment, human and civil rights, women's rights, keeping religion separate from the state, not imposing religious views on the majority, treating the poor with dignity, realizing the biggest threat to national security is the NRA and the number of guns in this country, and that walls don't just keep people out, but they keep others inside the barrier, as well. These are my thoughts on a party that is different than the republican party.
It is pro-common person, the lower & middle classes. It is a fighter & an advocate for the continual rights of the middle class & grants helping programs to the lower classes in order for them to have a decent life. It is also for the rights of the oppressed & was responsible for many lower income persons advancing into the middle class through free social, health, & educational programs.
It is also responsible for the vast welfare state which degenerated families & created generational welfare. It made some people expect entitlements instead of working smart to make their way in society. It has subsequently metamorphosized into a radicalized, even leftist party within the past eight years- advocating a more equal distribution of income whether one deserves it or not, raising of the minimum wage, & the amnesty programs of low skilled immigrants which is taxing the American socioeconomic system further.
Not to digress further, it is responsible for granting full rights to the LGBT community. It believes in the rights of those who are considered outsiders in American culture. It is for the people, no matter what their beliefs, income, education, or place in life. It is very progressive, even evolutionary in many instances.

I am not an American, but what goes on in the USA is important to the world.Lincoln was a Republican and freed the slaves. One would expect black Americans to generally vote Republican. But they don't.How did this come about?

The historical bond between the Democratic Party and the Black community in the United States is rich and complex, marked by pivotal moments and initiatives, particularly in the 1960s, that underscore Democrats' support for Black citizens.
