Hi Chai. Do you mean writing on HubPages or on blogging sites?
I have some experience with both. From what I've seen, blogs are more relaxed, giving you a bit more freedom to incorporate your own style or write shorter entries.
That said, HubPages helps your writing find viewers, and for me has offered better pay, so I tend to stick with it even if it requires you to write a certain length and type of articles. Best of luck!

How do you balance your time between HubPages and blogging?I love writing on HubPages but I want to maintain my blogs, but I find it hard to balance and end up spending lots more time on HubPages.
