Abby Slutsky has written a response to the word prompt.

She shows us how buying popcorn at the movies turns into a few moments of anxiety.

This is an engaging story, Abby. I can recollect many such incidents of anxiety, when my kids were growing up.
A nice response to the word prompt.
      Thank you for sharing Brenda.

    Abby
In your story, "Have You Ever Had Anxiety Because of Popcorn?" we can feel the panic and anxiety you go through while at the theater.

All those thoughts running wild through your mind are definitely signs of Anxiety, but who wouldn't be like this when their son was left alone...or rather, with a lady whom you only knew by her first name.

This is a great little story that truly show your had anxiety the moment you got to the counter and the alarm sounded.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

I can relate to the small community as I was raised in what we call a village.
    It has one traffic light.

Wow. Your town was small. I have been wanting to try one of your prompts, so I am glad I finally got around to it. Thanks for the inspiration.

        Abby
I'm so glad you finally decided to join us with these prompts.  They can be alot of fun.

It takes us away from our normal routines for a few moments.

I currently live about 12 miles away from my home town (village) in a town that is not too much bigger, but it does have more than one traffic light.

But it's not like my village where we all knew one another.  It was kinda of nice though, because if you didn't know what your kids were up to...someone else always did.

Take care & join us again sometime.

That is a nice story, Abby. A very good example of a situation that would give you anxiety. I can remember similar situations with my own kids. At least it ended well, despite no refreshments. Thank you for sharing, Brenda.

This is an interesting article that I fully understand, Abby. Not knowing where your child is awfully stressful and scary.

    Thanks for posting this, Brenda.
