Alyssa shows us a different take on Adapt.

How others want someone (her) to fail so they can be entertained.

    Alyssa
I do believe this is the quickest you've ever responded to a word prompt.
Steve Carrell would be proud! ( haha).

Thanks for the warm introduction and raising your coffee cup...I hope I have another year.

Your poem shows how others don't want her to succeed.

They rejoice at each stumbling block tossed her way, in hopes it will bring her down...but she keeps on going.

They are entertained at her expense...but who knows...
The last laugh might be on them & not the heroine.

It willl be Interesting to see the outcome of your stay tuned continuation.

I'll post a link in the word prompt article.

This is a dramatic poem. I certainly want to know what happens next! It should be interesting after such an enticing beginning.

I'm still curious...what deep dark decret does the heroine have that you haven't yet revealed
