There is a tiny in-thread writing competition held here:

The challenge is to write a flash story of exactly 150 with 5 words randomly chosen and obligatory.
It is held at the blogger forum because that enables people to vote within the threads and I wouldn't know how to do that here at hubs (suggestions on that?).
It's just for fun and there are no real prizes, but it's a very good exercise for any creative writer, so if you're in for a challenge, why not give it a try?
