There is a tiny in-thread writing competition held here:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/b … &hl=en
The challenge is to write a flash story of exactly 150 with 5 words randomly chosen and obligatory.
It is held at the blogger forum because that enables people to vote within the threads and I wouldn't know how to do that here at hubs (suggestions on that?).
It's just for fun and there are no real prizes, but it's a very good exercise for any creative writer, so if you're in for a challenge, why not give it a try?
Hope to see you there and all best wishes,

First, apologies to Tori since it will SEEM like I'm picking on her HotD - I'm not. These featured hubs need to be touched by an editor if Hubpages is ever going to be taken seriously as a 'real' writing site.1. The Title is Wordy2. Restain should be re-stain3. FIRST sentence, misspelled word:...

However, we don't want to make the same mistakes that Bubblews did.60% of what the forum ads actually pays sounds about right. And only Hubbers with 10 or more featured hubs would qualify. And only the first 10 posts of each HP day would qualify. And only posts without links would qualify. And only...
