THE BEAUTY OF TOMORROW- A poem

Passes by with memories

Driving away from the past

Bringing new moments refreshing

That’s how time flies

Yesterday I was a child

Didn’t know what life was

Today I’m someone

With dreams in my eyes

Tomorrow, yet a mystery

I’m trying to find

With dreams unending

I wake up cherishing everyway

Seeing how blessed I’m

To be born everyday

The nature’s mysteries unbound

By flowers turning to fruits

Worms turning into beautiful butterflies

Times hav made me wish

If I was a camera

To take a zillion pictures

Hold it close to my heart

And never let go

The fun we had

The song we sang

Can’t let go

Cause its millions worth

Wishing for more joy

With zillion others

Saying goodbye to the dying today

Waiting for yet another tomorrow

      @ QudsiaP1,

I totally agree with your statement that tomorrow in itself is a blessing most ignore….people just have time to brood about their past….. Thanks for your kind visit and comment here. I am happy that you found my poem interesting. God bless you :)

Tomorrow in itself is a blessing most ignore. What a wonderful concept; I loved your comparison between your childhood and now and one of the future. Wonderful!

I knew it! This poem has been inspired by the quote: yesterday is history....tomorrow is a mystery and today is present.....and that's why we call it a gift!

Great, that you took it as an inspiration and not a medium for plagiarism. Lovely poem, Suzann...O ;)

      suzzycue,

it seems like we have similar approaches to life. :) i believe there's no use dwelling in the past or waiting for the future , the best way to live life is to live it today. . I'm really glad you liked it. :)
