Time for Autumn Candles

This time of year is always the best time to purchase scented candles for your home. In my opinion, stores always carry the nicest scented candles for autumn. The candles for fall usually have a slight spicy fragrance to them, as well as a sweet undertone. Often, autumn candles smell as if someone is baking in the home. They create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

This year, Bath and Body Works is not only carrying the Slatkin & Co candles, but their fall candles also feature some scented candles from White Barn. Each candle practically has its own personality. Not only are there great autumn scented candles, Bath and Body Works sells a number of cute candle holders and Halloween themed products. You might be sad summer is over, but you can look forward to fall with all the great scented candle choices.

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin

My first fall favorite I'd like to discuss is Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. It is an amazing smelling pumpkin candle. Although this one does not promise a "spiced" pumpkin scent, I find it to be quite spicy. The scent is just sweet enough to remind you of pumpkin pie baking in the oven, but it is not overly sweet.

Spiced Cider

Spiced Cider is one of the only fall apple scents available at Bath & Body Works. The scent is actually very similar to Yankee Candle's Apple Cider. If you prefer the quality of Slatkin & Co's candles over Yankee Candle's products, then I would recommend trying Spiced Cider if you really like Apple Cider.

Spiced Cider is slightly spicy and slightly sweet. It has a strong apple fragrance which is sure to overpower any odors you may have in your home. I highly recommend it for those of you that enjoy apple scented candles.

Pumpkin Caramel Latte

One of my very favorite Bath and Body Works candle scents has returned again for autumn. Pumpkin Caramel Latte is sweet and smells like caramel. I hardly smell the latte scent, which works well for me since I am mostly concerned about the caramel. Yes, the pumpkin scent is evident, but it is not terribly strong. I was quite excited to see this candle make a return to the store, so I am sure I will make some return visits to the store specifically for the Pumpkin Caramel Latte candle.

Pumpkin Cupcake

Normally I am not a fan of any candle labeled "cupcake scented," but I am making an exception for Pumpkin Cupcake. The candle smells just like you are entering a bakery. Personally, I wish it was even sweeter smelling (which is always my opinion on cupcake scented candles), but I am sure most people will disagree with me on this one. The combination of pumpkin and baked goods is quite enough for the average scented candle fan. The photo of tasty cupcakes on the front of the candle alone is enough to make you hungry.

Cinnamon Sugared Donut

Cinnamon Sugared Donut is excellent for anyone looking for a strong cinnamon scented candle. It is just sweet enough to earn the word "sugared" in the name. For me, I don't necessarily think of a donut when I smell this candle, but it does make me think of a baked product with cinnamon and sugar. My first thought would be cinnamon toast, but what difference does that make anyway? It smells wonderful.

Marshmallow Fireside

This is my first experience with the White Barn brand at Bath and Body Works. Marshmallow Fireside is a slightly sweet, almost cologne-like scent. Since I have nothing else in my collection quite like it, I really wanted it. I would not say it smells exactly like marshmallow or a fireside, but it is a pleasant smelling candle.

I highly recommend checking out all of these scented candles at Bath and Body Works when you get a chance. I know summer is truly almost over once the fall scented candles appear in stores. With amazing scents like those listed above, you might not even be sad to see summer go this year.
