I have a nice tight fitting slipcover for a couch and throw type couch covers for other couches. I have kids and all of us are constantly fixing the covers because they are always shifting. What can I do to prevent this?
You could try some anti-slip matting (sometimes called dycem) - these are very thin and can be cut to shapes and sizes to suite your needs. I use small bits of these underneath my cushions on the settee, as the cushions always slipped on the leather and it drove me nuts! When I put the anti-slip matting pieces the cushions stay in place - most of the time!
