How does a one discover themselves and their true passion when they have a wide range of interests?
I love oceanic life, food and cooking, nature, travel, forensics, the law, and writing. How do I settle on a single career when my heart loves so much?
First become good at one of your interest and keep practicing it until it make you a professional in that interest.
But, if you love each thing equally with new and developing passions every day how do you choose?
Perhaps figure out, what would be the best for you emotionally, and physically, and the best for the people around you.
Keep dabbling in all of them until something comes together . Despite constant societal pressure, you don't have to pick what you're going to do for the rest of your life until you're good and ready. I also have a wide range of interests. Over time, as I dabbled in each, they began to coalesce into a custom-made career that includes bits of all of them. Writing is the thing that tied them together for me -- I have to have something to write about, so those new experiences can keep right on happening. What ties it together for you could be a very different thing. Until you find the perfect solution for you individually, then simply don't settle. Not as easily done as said, there will be a lot of well-meaning people that try to push you to choose, but just focus on what you want and enjoy. They may be upset you're not listening to them, but they'll get over it if they're good people to have in your life.
You have no idea how good it felt to read that response. It's nice to hear someone being supportive every now and then. thank you for the advice!!!
