Dyson DC44 Animal Digital Slim MK2 - The Ultimate Dyson - One of the best vacuums on todays market!

A great machine, pretty powerful, no cords, no messy bags to empty, forget all those large and awkward attachments, easy to store and a pleasure to use.

Why have I highlighted this? Well, although I already have an older Dyson Model I will have to update to the latest technology sooner or later and this is my choice, I have actually tried and tested the DC44, my local gym was kind enough to permit me to run it through a few tests and as expected, came in without any flaws.

Owe, it also doubles up as a nice hand vacuum!

You get no loss of suction with this guy, most vacuums these days require a bag to be used which can impact the suction capability, especially when filling up, with the DC44, no bag is required which omits this concern. The digital motor comes in a small, lighter and cleaner package with more power than ever and certainly leaves the conventional vacuums behind. It has two types of bristles for the cleaning of various surfaces, a dual power mode and a very convenient docking station. A little pricey but worth every penny in my mind. It was on my list, it's now in my house and I just love it, even the carpet gets hoovered more these days ;)

@DrLibby: It's a great little guy, not that loud, I use in and around the house as well as for the car. Pretty tough also, have dropped it and not a scratch, I think you would be pleased with it!

Wow! Things have come a LONG way since those earlier hand-held vacs (remember the old "Dirt Devil?") Yeah, I'd get one of these in a heartbeat! BUT... would I USE it? Hmmm.... Now, THAT seems to really be the problem in my house. :)
