I live in IL and I am starting the process of house hunting in the
Las Vegas/Henderson NV area.
Where are the neighborhoods/areas that are culturally or ethnically dense?
I don't care about the race, color, religion, etc. of the neighbors, but at the same time, I wouldn't want to move into the heart of an area that is referred to as 'China Town', 'New Delhi West' or 'Little Mexico" either.
Be careful of the northern areas of Las Vegas and the North Las Vegas area. There is lots of new growth in the west and southern areas of the city. Henderson is also a rather affluent area and should be good. Prices are very good...it is a buyers market in most cases with prices down by 30-50% and lots of abandoned or bank-owned property. Good luck. WB

This is a serious question. I currently live in South America and plan on returning to the states by the end of this year. I am looking at Las Vegas as a place to live and work.
