the people, the weather, the lack of morals, the seedy elements, and the carpet in the MGM
Slot machines in the bathrooms. I haven't been to Vegas for years, but that used to be true... maybe it isn't, now.
I can think of two off the top of my head: Smoking at the gaming tables and those guys who try to hand you flyers for call girls when you walk down the Strip.
I used to love going to Vegas when I was a kid. There was downtown and the strip with a lot of desert in between. The Tropicana (remember that old place?) was out at the end of a dirt road. the Mafia ran the place so the streets were clean, traffic flowed, and it was safe for two little kids to walk the streets at night un-escorted. As the years have passed I've watched the place turn just another big, dirty, dusty city. The last time my wife and I passed through we thought we'd stay downtown but 20 minutes of fighting traffic made us change our minds and go to Laughlin instead.

Through educational opportunities through my employer I earned an almost-all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas. I leave in one week. I've never been to Las Vegas. I've spent hours scouring the internet...
