My husband just replaced the flushing mechanism in our toilet because the old one was shot. Now...about 1 in 10 flushes results in the flap not seating completely and the toilet runs. How can we adjust the flap to ensure that it will seat properly? Thanks!
the chain that goes to the 'flap' is usually more then long enough. basically just change it's distance
What DStettler said, but if it is not a chain, but a lever, make sure that the mechanism is not stuck in a position where it can't lower all the way.
I don't know but when you find out, make sure you ask your husband to contact mine. We have the same problem and he is trying very hard to ignore it. And I"M NOT CHANGING IT MYSELF!!!! lol

What is the one luxury you couldn't do without?Perhaps it's a hot shower. A/C, flushing toilets, or a comfortable mattress...

When you put a fresh toilet roll on the holder do you put it on with the flap at the front or back?
