I grew up with a florist for a Mother, and none of the daisies I have encountered had any extreme fragrance. The ones that had most smell were roses, lilacs and peonies.
No, Gerbera Daisy doesn't have a sweet smell like roses. It has just a mild smell only, but blessed with stunning beauty.
