How do I clean the burner on my gas stove so I dont have to use a lighter to get it started?
I have to use a lighter to get my burner flame started. There must be a way to do something so it lights on it's own.
ignition of lpg basically has nothing to do with cleanliness of the burner.for the gas to get lighted the temparature and concentration at the point of ignition are to be above/= the minimum required level. if you keep the burner or the pores, rather, clean the quality of the flame and economy of the fuel are managed better.auto ignition is just a value addition by the manufacturer of the stove - a lighter cum throttle is inbuilt.

Lid of gas stove burner is getting rusted. What to do?I have a relatively new gas stove (may be just two years old). It looked like the one in the photo when it was new. But it is getting rusted. How to bring back the polished look? Any idea?
