Lid of gas stove burner is getting rusted. What to do?
I have a relatively new gas stove (may be just two years old). It looked like the one in the photo when it was new. But it is getting rusted. How to bring back the polished look? Any idea?
In our country we apply Kerosene around the rusted portions. Allow it to settle for sometime and then reapply kerosene to do a clean up of iron rust using a brush. Try exploring this URL as well.

At home, we use cleaning oil to remove the dust. And then you have to wipe that area or the burner every after use to prevent it from coming back.

Do you have one burner on your stove that you favor?Do you think that it hurts the stove in any way to always use the same one or two burners?

How do I clean the burner on my gas stove so I dont have to use a lighter to get it started?I have to use a lighter to get my burner flame started. There must be a way to do something so it lights on it's own.
