How can I stop from under or over watering plants? They always die on me!
No clue but I can relate to plants dying on you. I have a great plant, I acutally named her Estelle. Yes, it is unusual but after I named her she became more lively.
You need to go on line to see how you should take care of them. Some plants need more sun and water than others.

The best way is to stick your finger into the soil. If the top 3-4 inches are dry, it's time to water.
Are your plants in pots? They are all different, I suggest you google *plant* watering?
"When to water" is the reason I chucked live plants forever and took up silk gardening. Silk plants never turn yellow (or die) from under-watering, and don't require enlisting a plant sitter when I go on vacation. In fact, you can even take your favorite along to brighten a hotel room. ;D

How often do we need to water cactus plants?I have a small cactus plant. I gave long gaps in watering; it started to wither.
