Is there an easy, effective way to clean mold or mildew on tiles and grout in a shower?
I don't want to use toxic cleaners like bleach.
I'm curious to know the answer to this as well, actually I was going to ask the same question... I have some yucky black and brown mildew on our grout... baking soda does nothing....and I hate using harsh cleaners...
I was going to try some hydrogen peroxide and a toothbrush.. stronger stuff than the one for cuts, I got it at the drugstore, going to give that a try, but I have my doubts.
1 cup of bleach poured into 1 gallon of water, this will remove the mold. Also try vinegar with the same ratio. The bleach works best and you an see the mold turning into the right color again. Let it dry before you wash the area down.
